I have a new Product that won't sync: what causes this?

Inactive Products that have never been synced will not sync

This is an intentional setting to reduce unnecessary sync traffic. Products in this condition are typically those recently added to StorePorter from the back office system that are not yet ready to be displayed in the online store.

To check for this condition, edit the Product record and check the Status tab. If the Web PK value is 0 and the Active checkbox is unchecked, the Product will not sync.

 

If you wish to review a Product's online appearance prior to activation for purchase, you'll need to activate the Product, sync it, then deactivate and re-sync.
